Your CAW (Create-A-Wrestler) must be a creation of YOURS, no recreating
any real wrestlers from any federation. It may be not be a rip off of a
movie character, a cartoon character, or anything you can find in the
media. It must be completely yours.
Also, please make yours CAW's as realistic as possible.
Your CAW (Create-A-Wrestler) must be original, it cannot be a ripoff
from a movie character, cartoon character, pr anything you can find in
the media. It must be your own creation. Also, please let your caw be
realistic, don't make a steroid abusing, 7 feet tall four hundred pound
character, try to make him as lifelike as possible.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
General Rules
For the most part, GWA is a happy place, and MOST people won't go out of their way in an attempt to be mean to you. So please be respectful of all others in any and every way possible.
Don't beg to be Staff, or attempt to get a Staff member fired to take their position. This will in turn get you fired from the GWA as a whole.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Staff Rules
To become a Staff member, ask an Admin. If they decline, don't bug them about it. Let them know your skills, and what you can do for the GWA. They will keep you in mind next time a spot is available.
The staff will to be as fair and unbiased as they can. Please don't complain if a call doesn't go your way.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Championship Rules
You may only hold a belt on YOUR brand. You may not use any type of stipulation to earn a belt on the opposite brand. (This only counts when this league has more than 1 brand).
Handicap matches are not allowed for title matches, regardless of stipulation. The only exception to this is in Tag Matches.
You can't hold 2 singles titles at the same time. You're allowed to have a singles title and the tag titles at the smae time though.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair Play Rules
These fair play rules were put into effect
to stop cheap players as much as possible. They are not meant to punish
people, but to make GWA matches as realistic as possible. Follow them
at all times.
Double Red Rule
The Double Red Rule is one of the most important rules in the GWA. The double red rule basically means, you must have at least two of your opponents limbs in the red area. It can be any combination of limbs. Body, head, arms, or legs.
All matches must be won off a finishing move. This means, You must perform a finishing move, and then pin, provided your opponent is in Double Red.
Do not glitch. It is the cheapest thing you can do, and could get you banned from the GWA if your opponent complains about you. Especially watch out for rope glitching, this happens when your opponent is on the rope and you do a running grapple.
Upon finding out you glitch, an opponent will be placed in your next match. If you are reported to have glitched again, you will be fired from the GWA.
Do not do unclean entries. An unclean entry is when your opponent comes in the ring, and you hit them while they are in the in-ring animation. Do not rush your opponent as soon as he gets up either.
Do not hit the ref for any reason.
Do not run outside of the ring to avoid a fight, or to spam taunt.
You may not grapple your opponent when you are dragging them. (This is on the ground, you're allowed to drag someone in a Strong Grapple and then do the move).
You may not hit a finisher while you have your opponent held in a Strong Grapple.
In order to win your GWA Match, you need to succesfully land at least two Strong Grapples. This means, you must get them into a Strong Grapple situation, and then successfully land a grapple. If you cannot land a Strong Grapple, you must have AT LEAST 8 attempts in your match. An attempt is anytime you hit the Strong Grapple (RB+Right Stick). The attempt must either successfully grab your opponent, or be reversed by them. If your strong grappling but yet not touching anyone, it does not count as an attempt.
A successful Strong Grapple must be initiated by you. It cannot be off of a reversed attempt. It also must be a Strong Grapple, not an Ultimate Control Move.
4 Strong Grapple attempts = 1 Landed Strong Grapple.
ex. If you land 1 Strong Grapple, but attempt 5 total, your count is 2 total strong grapples, meaning you are ok.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chaos Rules (This only counts when we have more than 1 brand and one of them is Chaos).
The rules for Chaos are a little bit different. Chaos is the land of extreme, where anything goes. Most rules are the same as GWA's, but some differ. If it is not listed below, follow the regular GWA ruling.
You may pin on a signature move. This includes table matches, or any other match where you have the option.
You may pin on a regular pin move. Recommended for Heels only. You can pin on a roll up, or any kind of pin move you have, as long as your opponent is in double red and you have performed YOUR finisher one time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match Rules
Weapons Matches In General
Weapons should never be abused, do not use them more than necessary.
Ladder
Never hard irish whip your opponent outside of the ring in an attempt to score an easy victory.
You're not allowed to toe kick the ladder down when your opponent is on the ladder. You will actually have to climb the ladder to stop them from winning, or you can TRY to hit them with a top rope/springboard move. As long as you hit them its ok.
Table
Match must be won on finisher. Not on Signatures.
Normal Tag
As the person fighting in the ring, you must follow all singles rules.
Do not knock hit the inactive person on your opponents side.
As the person in the corner, you must STAY in your corner at all times.
When your opponents tag, there will be a few moments of double-teaming. Do not interfere. You will get your chance to double team your opponents too.
You may only save your opponent three times during a match. A save is anytime your opponent has your partner in either a pin or a submission, and you release it, therefore ending the pin or submission.
When your opponent attempts to pin your partner, and you run in the ring to save them BUT a rope break pops on the screen, that does not count as a save. It's your opponents fault to pin him so close to the ropes.
Tornado Tag
Each member of a team needs to land 2 Strong Grapples. Same rules as the singles Strong Grappling.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fight Style Rules
Do not spam your opponent with Finishers and Signatures, make your finisher look good and only use it when you can actually end the match. It's not illegal but it's more realistic.
Possum pins may be used to end a match as long as you have performed YOUR finisher at least once during the match, and your opponent is in double red. EVEN IF your opponent just hit his finisher on you.
If you happen to have the evasive roll ability, there is no limit on the times you may use the roll, but please don't use it all the time, use your own judgment to play fair.
Brawlers can use any move as there third Fist of Fury move, even if it's banned.
Fist of Fury must end in a knock down move.
Wreck Shop may only be used once per match.
The Ref-Shield may only be used TWICE per match.
You may hold a rope break, but for no longer than three seconds.
You may only steal 1 finisher per match. You can also only steal 1 signature per match. (So 1 finisher&1 signature).
Stealing a finisher is the same as a normal finisher, you may pin off of it as long as your opponent is in double red.
Also, do not do more than 2 taunts in a row. This doesn't mean taunt twice, stomp, then taunt twice more. Don't abuse taunts, it's as simple as that.
Do not abuse the Weapon Grapples.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Exclusive Finishers and Theme songs
Everyone in this league has their own finisher and theme song. This prevents all people having the same moves and/or songs.
If you do not have your exclusive finisher in a league match and you win the match, a re-match will be granted to your opponent. If you refuse this re-match, you get a loss.
For further information on exlusive finishers and theme songs, check sub-forum "The Office".
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Create a finisher
Your CAF may only be 3 impacts. An impact is anytime you do damage to your opponent.
Make sure you don't have a glitched CAF. A glitched CAF is when your opponent automaticly gets damage to a body part, this is meant in (for example) your opponent just turned yellow body from a toe kick and then you do your CAF and he turns orange immidiatly.
Make your CAF's realistic, don't make them speeded up double toe kick and a random spinning neckbreaker so you can end the match quicker.
